Designing a digital home for $700 million in community investments.

Rātā Invest was ready to move beyond its one-page presence on the Rātā Foundation website, and establish a dedicated digital home of its own.

We were up for the challenge. We started by crafting 
a new logo and colour palette – closely connected 
to the Rātā Foundation brand, but with visual cues signalling Rātā Invest’s financial expertise. Complex investment details were simplified with an animated data design system, built to present a range of graph types and formats consistently and compellingly. 

The result is a site designed for clarity and credibility. An easily undateable news and views hub, annual report flip-books, and trust-building partners section – all working together to tell the story of an organisation responsible for nearly $700 million in community investment.

We made Rātā Invest’s strategy immediately clear with a bold, 
card-based layout. Big figures draw attention to key metrics, 
while icons add personality 
and make the portfolio easily skimmable. Smart hierarchy and clear navigation guides users through Rātā’s strategies. Complex info feels natural, 
intuitive – and above all, simple.

For Rātā Invest, balancing long-term growth with community impact is key. That strategy comes to life through an interactive pie chart that turns portfolio data into an explorative experience. Users get a clear sense of how each allocation plays its part – and gain insight into the thinking behind Rātā’s carefully structured portfolio.
